QUESTIONS ON PHOTO TOUR

In this section you will find some of the most frequently asked questions that users pose on the Photo Tours:

 

question: are the photo tours reserved only for photographers or can even people who have no interest in photography participate?
answer: the photo tours are trips structured mainly on the needs of the photographers and therefore everything is optimized so that the photographers can get the most out of these experiences. This said, however, are open to all those who want to experience a full immersion in the nature of excellence of the countries concerned.
question: what are the conditions for which the tour will be or not?
answer: the essential condition for a photo tour to be effective is that the minimum number of participants indicated in the tour plan is reached.
question: What happens if there are no more places available when I decide to book?
answer: a reservation made after the deadline as well as an exhaustion of the available seats does not cause the reservation to be null and void. In this case you are entered in the list for the specific tour that is always open and you are booked for the next date that will be once again established once the minimum number has been reached.
question: the fees indicated are fixed or can change?
answer: the fees indicated could undergo small variations, positive or negative, related to fluctuations in air and accommodation costs. In any case, it will be very small variations that will be discussed and communicated to the participants with a reasonable advance.
question: What are the timing and payment methods?
answer: there are times to be respected of course. There will be a maximum deadline for bookings, generally two months before departure. At this time, if the minimum number has been reached, the tour will be made effective. From this date the participants have 5 days to pay, in other specified ways, the advance set for the Photo Tour as indicated in the summary sheet of the Tour conditions. The remaining half must be paid 30 days before departure.
question: can I register if I am not yet 18?
answer: Yes, but you must be accompanied by a parent or by an adult with a proxy who takes responsibility for the duration of the trip.
question: can I sign up as a guide only?
answer: certainly and in this case the participation fee remains unchanged.
question: What happens if for one reason or another I can not participate in the trip anymore?
answer: if the cancellation occurs before the closing date of the bookings nothing happens absolutely and the user is canceled from the reservation. Within the seventh calendar day (inclusive) from the payment of the deposit, you are entitled to repayment of the advanced sum. From the eighth day onwards, this right is lost. In any case it is advisable to carefully read the membership clauses in the application form attached to each Photo Tour.
question: where do you start from and eventually you can choose a departure airport different from the one established?
answer: departures are always provided by the Rome airports, both the international Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. If there are any special needs, you can choose a different airport as long as this does not result in waste of time or misalignments in the organization of the Tour. The organizers however prefer that the group is compact from the start.
question: What responsibility do I have if I decide to offer myself as a driver and what license is required?
answer: absolutely no because the rentals are always made with the maximum insurance coverage complete in all with regard to civil liability. The norms established by the rental contract are valid. The required license is the "B". The driver will be asked to sign an acceptance receipt.
question: why the Adventure Photo Tour does not include a plane ticket?
answer: Adventure Photo Tour is not a tour operator and therefore can not issue air tickets. So the choice of the type of flight is left to each participant. However, the reference flight will be indicated well in advance to allow booking.
VERY IMPORTANT: it is always advisable to buy tickets with the refund of the cost (total or partial) of the ticket itself. This will protect you in case of cancellation of the photo tour due to force majeure.
question: are entry visas to the various countries included in the Photo Tour?
answer: the entry visa is always personal. If necessary, you will have to deal with it directly. This need occurs only in the case of the US Photo Tour for which an ESTA visa is required, which can be requested with a simple online procedure.

question: can I choose to sleep in a single room?
answer: almost always yes, obviously paying a surcharge for the accommodation in a single room that is indicated in the conditions sheet of each PhotoTour.
question: Do you need vaccines for Adventure Photo Tours?
answer: For all eight proposed photo tours, there is no need for a vaccine.
